Apple is warning people about how hackers are targeting Mac users.

In today’s Tech Bytes, an important warning for Mac users. New malware posing as a “browser update” is taking at Apple devices. It’s actually what’s described as a “one hit, smash and grab” virus that can steal passwords. Experts say even the savviest of users have been fooled.

Instagram has upgraded one of its recently launched features. Now users all over the world can download public reels to their devices rather than just saving them for later viewing. That feature was only available to mobile users here in the U.S.

Finally, Peloton is apologizing for its Thanksgiving “turkey burn” event. It was supposed to be an attempt to set a new world record for “largest cycling class” but the CEO says demand overwhelmed Peloton’s technical infrastructure and many riders were locked out.
