X is giving out blue verification checks free of charge. Accounts with more than 2,500 verified subscribers are receiving the checks along with premium features. Last year, X owner Elon Musk pulled blue check marks from legacy verified accounts which were verified through a controlled process.

Ford is delaying the rollout of its new electric vehicles to focus instead on making more hybrids. EV trucks and SUV’s that were supposed to go into production next year have been pushed back at least a year as the auto industry sees slower-than-expected demand for electric vehicles.
