Spring grants now open for Northland nonprofits

Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation announces spring grants

The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation has now opened their grant cycle for the spring season and nonprofits from across the Northland are encouraged to apply.

The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation has now opened their grant cycle for the spring season. Nonprofits from northeast Minnesota, northwest Wisconsin, and the seven sovereign tribal nations in the region are invited to apply for grants to support projects to better their local communities.

The Community Foundation decided to increase the amount of time between the opening and closing of the application cycle in order give nonprofits more time to get their applications thoughtfully put together.

Any Nonprofits organizations (i.e. 501(c)3 and government entities) located in or provide services to residents in the Northland are encouraged to apply. Applications open in early January and close March 1st.

“We are grateful for the many generous donors who created the resources that directly contribute to the
vibrancy and resilience of our communities,”
Community Impact Director Michelle Morris said. “These
funding opportunities help nonprofit organizations address the unique needs and possibilities of our
communities and create lasting, positive change.”

A full list of funding opportunities available with eligibility guidelines is posted on their website along with directions on how to apply. Applicants with questions can contact Morris at mmorris@dsacommunityfoundation.com.
