Over a hundred artists will flock to Bayfront Park for two day fair

Art lovers should get ready to expand their collection because Art in Bayfront Park is returning August 19 and 20. Local and regional artists get to show off their work including jewelry, painting, photography, ceramics, metalwork, glass and more. This festival continues to draw a competitive field of top quality artists from across the region. 140+ artists are invited to participate. Handcrafted items are sold in a wide variety of price ranges to appeal to anyone wanting to add to their household.

One of the most popular features of the festival is their Culinary Arts Market. A wide variety of
gourmet pre-packaged food and beverage items are available to purchase. From BBQ sauces to Granola to baked goods and so much more, everyone will find something to enjoy.

The festival will also host several organizations that bring hand-on art activities and learning opportunities. Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College will feature a mural project and native arts. Ely Folk Schools will have a large-scale loom to try. Duluth Forging Company will demonstrate metalworking
skills. Also, attendees will find painting and calligraphy craftsmanship.

The admission to the festival is free. For more information on Art in Bayfront Park, please visit www.artinbayfrontpark.com.
