Duluth Central High School alumni gathered for a celebration at the Duluth Depot Thursday evening. It is reported that the event was the largest gathering of alumni since the closure of the historic school in 2011. Guests were able to enjoy drinks, local food trucks and a brief presentation. Event officials stated the celebration was not meant for a specific class and welcomed all Central High alumni, friends and family.

Organized by the Duluth Central Alumni Association, the celebration featured an exhibit of Central High memorabilia. The exhibit has been on display at the Depot since June of 2023. The exhibit included more than 150 artifacts from band uniforms, cheerleader sweaters, the Trojan head from the gym floor, yearbooks and more. It was designed by Duluth artist and Central alumnus Gary Lundstrom, who collected memorabilia donated by both grads and non-grads.
