Duluth Boys & Girls Club CFO Receives Hall of Fame Award

Dawn Hautajarvi, the CFO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Northland has received a Hall of Fame award from the recent Greater Midwest Area Council (GMAC). She was picked for this award due to her longstanding work to support youth at the Clubs. Dawn was among seven new members who have been accepted into the Greater Midwest Area Council Hall of Fame.

The Boys & Girls Clubs nationally serve 3.3 million young people in more than 5,200 Club facilities. GMAC which is made up of Clubs from Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Nebraska held their annual meeting July 19 – 20 in Rapid City, South Dakota.

The Boys & Girls Clubs Area Council Hall of Fame honors those individuals whose achievements have made a mark in their local Club and have impacted the Greater Midwest Area Council (GMAC). These seven individuals that were honored have shaped and inspired local Clubs in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.

“These are professionals or volunteers that have made significant contributions to the Boys & Girls Clubs, in their city, in their state or in their region. When we think about the pinnacle of recognition at Boys &Girls Clubs, this is it,” said Jim Clark, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
