DEPOT Theatre hosts ‘History in a Pint’ program

The St. Louis County Historical Society has a new opportunity to hear declassified information about the Cold War military operations in the Duluth area.

The St. Louis County Historical Society is offering a unique experience to hear declassified information about the military operations in the Duluth area during the Cold War as part of their “History in a Pint” program series. This series is presented by Veterans Memorial Hall.

This week’s presentation will be hosted by Raymond Klosowski, a retired Brigadier General with the United States Air Force.

“It’s an interesting story that needs to be told and recorded and that’s why the St. Louis County Historical Society is interested in it just like they are in other aspects of Duluth’s history”

Klosowski will appear at the St. Louis County Depot on Friday, February 22nd where there will be a social hour at 6:00pm followed by his presentation at 7:00pm.

The Historical Society maintains and operates a museum, the Veterans Memorial Hall and the Ojibwe Gallery, as well as a variety of traveling exhibits.
