Uncle Loui’s Café reopens after fire at Lake Superior Medical Equipment

Uncle Loui’s Café reopens today after a devastating fire next to Lake Superior Medical Equipment.

The staff at Uncle Loui’s Café are safe, and the restaurant had no damage from the fire or smoke.

Debbie Strop, the owner of Uncle Loui’s, talked about how the flames were scary being so close to the restaurant.

However, the employees and restaurant are back to serve the community of Duluth and show their support to the nurses.

“[We’re] ready to help out the nurses again if they need it. Ready to help out anyone who needs it and we’re ready to rock and roll.” said Strop.

Uncle Loui’s is located on East Fourth Street, and are open Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm.
They are also open Saturday & Sunday from 7am to 2:30pm.
