U.S. Marshals Service arrests 10 Twin Ports fugitives

U.S. Marshals Service state the have arrested ten wanted fugitives in collaboration with partner agencies this week in the Duluth-Superior Twin Ports area.

According to a release from the Service, “All individuals arrested had outstanding federal or state warrants and yielded 3 handguns and 69 fentanyl pills recovered, along with small amounts of methamphetamine and cocaine,” the release stated. “Of those arrested in the operation to curb violent, weapons, and controlled substance crimes, 5 were wanted for firearms related crimes, others ranged from felony assault to controlled substance warrants. A male Juvenile was also arrested on probable cause unlawful carrying of a firearm and 1st degree controlled substance sales.”

U.S. Marshals Service said the arrests were made thanks to the collaboration of federal, state, and local agencies.

All arrests occurred between December 8 and December 12.
