Two arrested after ramming into unmarked police vehicles

According to the City of Duluth, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force were working to execute a search warrant of a person’s vehicle on Friday, December 15th when a 24-year-old rammed their vehicle into two unmarked police cars. The 24-year-old driver along with a 17-year-old passenger were detained.

During the search, a fentanyl/meth mixture, along with over $600 in drug sale proceeds, ammo, and M30 pills were seized. The 17-year-old was arrested for 3rd Degree Sale of Fentanyl, 3rd Degree Sale of Methamphetamine/Fentanyl and Felon in Possession of Ammo. The 24-year-old was arrested for Aiding and Abetting 3rd Degree Sale of Methamphetamine/Fentanyl and Fleeing Police in a Motor Vehicle.

The Duluth Police helped transport the individuals to Arrowhead Regional Corrections and the St. Louis County Jail. No one was injured during this incident.
