Superior woman charged with murder in connection with overdose death

A Superior woman now faces multiple charges after the overdose death of a woman in June.

Allyson Rose Sheffield, 20, is accused of 3rd degree murder and sale of narcotic.

Authorities said this stems from the overdose of an 18-year-old in Duluth. Her death was from fentanyl.

The criminal complaint said Sheffield would regularly sell fentanyl pills to others, including the victim.

Officers arrested Sheffield on Wednesday this week.
