Sunday afternoon wildfire near Hibbing
Three aircraft were reported to be fighting the Sunday afternoon wildfire near Hibbing (Northland FireWire).
A wildfire was reported in the Kitzville area near Hibbing Sunday afternoon. The Minnesota DNR and Hibbing Fire Department are working both from the ground and from the air to fight the fire, using three aircraft.
According to the Northland FireWire, about 1.5 acres were consumed as of 3:45 pm Sunday. No other information is available at this time.
