Kids at Stowe Elementary made sure veterans felt appreciated on Friday during a program at the school.

The students lined the hallways and clapped as the veterans made their way into the gym.

Inside the gym, Retired Master Sgt. Dave Blazevic lead the kids in a historic flag ceremony and shared more about the military.

Then students had a chance to ask the veterans some questions.
