The Stella Maris Catholic Academy has completed the first of their three phase revitalization and renovation project on their newest campus.

The first phase brought the following:

  • 9 new classrooms
  • A new student entrance
  • New locker bay/commons
  • New school office and staff flex spaces
  • Common spaces on all the floors
  • Dedicated fine arts learning spaces
  • 5k trail on the property

Faculty and students came together for a ribbon cutting ceremony to show off some of the new features. President of the Stella Maris Academy, Andrew Hilliker says that their enrollment has doubled since 2019 so the renovations were necessary.

He adds they will be welcoming 650 students next week.

Hilliker says today is a big accomplishment and wants to thank the community for making this possible. The project started two years ago and students have been watching from a far.

Two twins we spoke to said they will be the second graduating class from the new high school once the project is fully complete.
