When you’re going through cancer or hospice, you need things to be as comfortable as possible. That’s why St. Luke’s is excited about what their major remodel will do for their patients.

$1,100,000 dollars were spent adding more infusion spaces and private rooms. They were just putting on the final touches on the space earlier Wednesday. Oncology Operations Leader Hillary Nelson said they poured their hearts into this remodel, “Patients who receive infusions only had three chairs in the past and very small space. So now we have five chairs and a bed. A lot of times our patients aren’t feeling the greatest so the bed allows them to rest.”

Additionally they’re hoping to add more artwork before the patients arrive.
