Spirit Mountain plans to open Sunday, November 26th

Spirit Mountain announced that they will be opening for the season on Sunday, November 26th from 10a.m. to 5.p.m. According to their Facebook page, guests should expect limited terrain including early-season coverage with no beginner terrain, thin snow in some spots, and snowmaking as conditions allow. As of Friday afternoon, enough snow has been made to ride from the top of Powder Monkey to the Summit Chair on Blue Ruin. Crew from Spirit Mountain say they will update the public on terrain park features and lifts running.

Guests are being told to plan to park and ride from the Skyline chalet, where skier services, including the cafe, tickets, rental, and season lockers, will be available. If you’re a season pass holder who still needs to pick up your pass, you can do so Saturday, November 25th, from 11 am to 4 pm at the Skyline chalet. According to Spirit Mountain, picking up your pass before opening secures your ability to go directly to the lift and not stand in line opening morning. If you’re unable to make it tomorrow, Spirit Mountain crews will have tickets staffed starting at 9 am on Sunday at the Skyline Chalet ticket counter for both pass and day ticket printing. Early season tickets will be available online beginning Saturday afternoon or at the ticket counter on opening day. Guests are also reminded that they will not be allowed to get on the lift if they do not have their physical pass with them.
