After a long break during COVID, a free senior lunch at the GND Rec gave folks a chance to reconnect over a meal of meatloaf.

On Monday, people gathered to see friends, and hear a program that included Duluth superintendent John Magas.

“It’s just fun to be able to get everybody in one place again,” shared Fran Morris, a GND Development Alliance board member.

Her friend, Rosie Adolphson, said she drives from Hermantown to be part of the fun. “We love the atmosphere. Everyone is so friendly.”

GND Rec offers programming for all ages.

There will likely be more lunches in the future.
