Semi-Truck rollover on Highway 53 near Virginia on Thursday

The southbound lanes of Highway 53 near Highway 169 were shutdown as crews worked to clear a tipped semi-truck on Thursday morning. Video from Northland Fire Wire.

A semi-truck rollover on Highway 53 near Virginia has shut down the southbound lanes Thursday morning. The rollover happened just south of the Rukavina Bridge. As of 3:20 p.m. the southbound Highway 53 is still reduced to one lane of traffic.

According to the Northland Fire Wire, the southbound lanes of Highway 53 are temporarily closed while crews work to clear the overturned semi.

According to the Minnesota State Patol, the driver was not injured.
