Robot Wars at Lake Superior College gave students a chance to collaborate then compete

It was getting loud during the Robot Wars at Lake Superior College’s downtown campus on Thursday.

In a “last bot standing” competition, their creations duked it out in the cage.

“This annual competition is a fun capstone project for the students,” said Nate Zobel, Machine Tool program instructor at Lake Superior College. “These students work together to solve problems in a creative way, which sharpens the skills they’ll use on the job someday.”
