Gearing up for the 2023 Black Woods Blizzard Tour

Snowmobilers geared up Wednesday for the big three day Black Woods Blizzard Tour.
The event is a big fundraiser for those living with ALS, the tour’s motto is ‘Never Surrender’. This ride to fight ALS helps people with ALS and their families through their journey with ALS.
Thursday all the 265 snowmobilers signed up for the tour registered their vehicles for the start of the big journey.
Thursday morning, the 18 different groups head up all the way up to Lake Vermillion. Friday they travel over to Grand Rapids, and then Saturday the make the big return home to the Casino.
The Blizzard tour has grown exponentially over the course of its 24 years. This year with 265 riders signed up the the team had to pick this new track that the snowmobilers will be traveling on.
