Renovations are currently underway at Clyde Iron Works in Duluth. The company has been in business for fourteen years and is learning to adapt to the changing food market.

“We’re making some changes in the way that we operate, and you know we’ve studied the markets since you know, it’s changed quite a bit since the last three years,” said Alessandro Giuliani, owner of Clyde Iron Works.

Clyde Iron Works is shifting their restaurant schedule to Thursdays through Sundays every week. Monday through Wednesday will be available for events at a reduced price.

This change came after Giuliani and staff discovered that those days were the most successful for business. It also allows for more time for events.

“This is a different environment for our industry, and the industry was hard in the past and its changing, but we are adapting to it, listening to and seeing what the people, our community wants,” said Giuliani.

Other additions include enhancing their menu, opening a gift shop, and completing their first on-site hotel. The hotel is a nine-room hotel that includes a sauna in each room.

Plans are in place for more updates and additions for the future. These plans include a second hotel and possible collaborations with the Heritage Center.

Clyde Iron Works is still open for meetings and events.

June 8 is the opening for the restaurant, with the hotel slated to open June 28. For updates and more information, you can go to https://clydeironworks.com/
