Rachel Strawser has taken over. “It was always my dream to own a boutique,” she shared.

When she and her family moved here in November last year, they were looking for places to volunteer.

Then, it was Peggy’s Thrift Store Fundraiser, and Peggy Patrick raised money for blood cancer research.

When she decided to move out of this, Strawser was ready to step up.

“I told her that I wanted to support veterans. So we raise money for 23rd Veteran, Patriot Assistance Dogs, and Homeless and Wounded Warriors of Minnesota,” she told us. “My brother and dad are combat veterans. And I grew up on military bases.”

In the first two months, they’ve already brought in over $5000 for the organizations.

The store is open Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, from 11am-5pm.

The address is 323 Chestnut Street.
