Lake Country Power restores power for Aurora residents

A failed substation regulator in Lakeland is to blame for a power outage that affected 1,400 Lake Country Power members in Aurora Tuesday evening.

Lake Country Power says the outage started just after 6:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Substation, with crews responding to fix the faulty elements related to the regulator.

Power was then restored to all members around 9:45 p.m.
