Duluth Chamber helps celebrate arrival of Planet Fitness

A look at how things are going at Planet Fitness, now that they've been open for two months.

They’ve been open about two months now, and new people are joining each day.

Planet Fitness is proud to be part of the Duluth community.

On Wednesday, the Duluth Chamber stopped by to help celebrate with a ribbon cutting.

Chamber President Matt Baumgartner said the gym is an important part of our economy, plus they are helping residents live healthier lives.

District Manager Nick Mills said it’s been exciting to meet so many people, and be part of their fitness journeys.

He added that they have 22,000 square feet, so the New Year’s resolution rush won’t feel crowded there.

There is also a special now, $1 down for either the Classic or Black Card membership.
