Pier B Resort Hotel awarded the local Clubs with $7,500 to invest in ways to keep youth active all year long and introduce them to some new ways to engage in healthy lifestyles. The money was used to buy pickleball sets, virtual reality headsets, dancing games and more for area youth.

Healthy Lifestyles is one of the three pillars of intentional programming which are the cornerstone of the Boys & Girls Clubs. The Clubs provide countless health and wellness programs for our members. Now more than ever, their Healthy Lifestyles pillar has become a key area of focus which includes mental health programming.

The goal of their Healthy Lifestyle Programming is to help youth adopt a healthy diet, practice healthy lifestyle choices, and make a lifelong commitment to fitness. The Clubs serve daily, healthy meals and snacks to youth. In addition, youth development professionals offer a variety of daily programming meant to engage youth in physical, mental and emotional health-related activities.
