Organizations rally to host Twin Ports Interfaith fundraiser
Several local organizations banded together to set up the Twin Ports Interfaith fundraiser.
The event will be held on February 18th from 4:30pm to 7:00pm at First Lutheran Church in Duluth.
The fundraiser will host a dinner, educational presentations, and speakers. T
here will be more opportunities to donate at the event, and event coordinators encourage all who attend to make a goodwill offering.
The money raised from the event will go towards supporting the Palestinian Red Crescent.
Tickets for the dinner-fundraiser are $55 dollars and are available to be purchased online.
There is also the option when checking out, to change the dollar amount and add a donation to the dinner registration fee.
Organizations involved in the event include Islamic Center of Twin Ports, anti-Zionist Jewish community members, First Lutheran Church, Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Duluth, Peace United Church of Christ, United Presbyterian Church – Superior, Trinity Episcopal Church – Hermantown, Glen Avon Presbyterian Church, and Twin Ports Chapter of American Veterans for Peace.
