Northerly School for Music announced in early April that they’re opening their new space for music lessons. Their new building is located at 20 N Second Ave E.

Co-Owners Kyle and Cooper Orla are super excited about the new space. “We’ve gotten tons of support from the community. It’s really been excited and people are really looking forward to taking lessons and we’ve had a lot of teachers reach out too,” says Cooper Orla.

Currently Northerly offers guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass, ukulele, and mandolin. “Mainly anything with frets,” says Kyle Orla. Kyle also touched on some of their expansion plans saying, “We are going to expand into things like voice and piano, maybe some brass and wind.”

The Orlas say they teach students anywhere between the beginner range to advanced. To for more information on lessons you can get in touch with the Northerly School for Music via their email info@northerlyschoolformusic.com or by messaging them on their Instagram.

Northerly is also looking to expand their teaching staff as well. Kyle and Cooper suggest interested teachers reach out to them through the information listed above.

We are focused on beginners to advance but definitely if you’ve never played an instrument or don’t even own an instrument, we want to be a place where you can come and just get started.
