For the first time in 50 years, the MIB Rangers are playing in the 9-Man football state championship game on Saturday. They will be taking on the Spring Grove Lions.

Riley Busch, a senior, explained 9-Man like this, “Less guys, less field, more big plays. This team has put in the work for so many years. And it’s paying off now.”

The school and community sent them off Friday morning with a lot of school spirit with a pep fest and parade with fire trucks.

“It just makes you realize how special it is. This once in a lifetime opportunity. And not just for the team, but for the entire school and the community,” Asher Zubich, a senior, shared.

There was also a video message from Vikings player, C.J. Ham!

A plane even flew overhead, with the message, “Good Luck at State, Go Rangers!”

You can watch the MIB Rangers play at U.S. Bank Stadium at 10:00am on Saturday, on our website or on Me-TV.
