University of Minnesota Duluth hosted a successful Medication Take Back Day on Friday March 24.

Members of the community brought in 63 pounds of expired or unneeded medications.

The event was hosted by UMD police and the Labovitz School of Business and Economics. The event is to not only help promote health, but to prevent people from flushing these medications.

Proper disposal of medications can also help prevent the misuse of medications as well. There are also plenty of disposal areas for medications too in the area that you can look here. For more information on telehealth prescription drugs you can look here.
