We’re coming off a nice day here across the Northland. It was nice to see temperatures in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Clouds will increase ahead of our next weather maker coming in from Canada. Showers will move in tonight from west to east. As this moisture comes through most of us will see some rain. However, Lake and Cook County may see temperatures cold enough to generate some slushy light snow. Some of the higher terrain may see a little over an inch.

Rain After a warmer day under cloudy skies, rain looks to return Thursday afternoon and evening. Once this rain starts it will take a on and off again approach through the end of the week and weekend. Temperatures may become cold enough Sunday to generate some light snow.

As of now, the low responsible for this moisture looks to be far enough east so only light snow is possible through arrowhead and U.P. of Michigan. Starting Friday and lasting through the weekend winds will likely increase too. Gusty winds are likely this weekend. Temperatures look to rebound by Tuesday and Wednesday, along with some sunshine.
