Justin Liles: Rain returns tonight

May 6th: Rain returns this evening

Rain returns this evening

Following our second beautiful day in a row, clouds have started to increase this afternoon. Rain will move in late tonight and last through Tuesday night. Some stronger storms are possible to our south. Northwestern Wisconsin is the likely place to see some strong winds and hail between 2pm and 8pm Tuesday. Winds will be rather gusty off the lake just like they were today.

Temperatures will again be much cooler by the lake than farther inland. We are also going to see fog developing by mid-morning. Fog will likely thicken by the afternoon hours and afternoon commute. Due to gusty-cool winds off the lake and fog, many of the heavier downpours will likely get diverted farther inland away from the big lake. Most of the region will likely see .5” to 1.00” of rain.
