Snow Update: Snow has started to roll into the Twin Ports as of 8:30pm. You may already hear the wind howling outside your window as gusts have already exceeded 40mph. Schools and events have cancelled ahead of all the snow Wednesday morning. Visibilities are likely to get worse through the overnight. The massive area of low pressure will likely impact us for a few days and possibly into the weekend.

Heavy snow is expected with the upcoming winter storm, with 6 inches or more possible for the majority of the Northland. Snowfall from 1-2 feet is expected along the North Shore. A blizzard warning is in effect until 6pm Thursday. Winds will gust to over 40mph or more and create poor visibilities along with drifting snow.
