Honor for Women’s Business Alliance North from SBA Minnesota District
Women's Business Alliance North has been honored for being the 2024 Women's Business Center.
The Women’s Business Alliance North has been named the SBA’s Minnesota Women’s Business Center of of Excellence for 2024.
It’s run by the Entrepreneur Fund, with support from the Small Business Administration.
Women gathered at Mexico Lindo on Monday to celebrate. It’s owned by WBA North client Lorena Velez.
She told us, “It’s very important to have a supportive community of women. Being a woman, and a minority, it’s good to have people backing you up. They have great counseling and advice. “
She’s owned the restaurant at Fitger’s since 2020.
