GoFundMe set up for Nett Lake teen severely injured in early Nov. crash

The family of Matthew Goggleye, a teen who was severely injured during a car accident in mid November, has set up a GoFundMe to help pay medical bills.

The crash happened near Orr, Minnesota. It was reported that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Nett Lake Road located southwest of Orr, and it had gone off the road and flipped and struck a tree.  

Upon arrival first responders determined the vehicle was occupied by two male teens. The driver, Travon Raymond Boshey, 17, of Tower, was pronounced dead on scene.

Meanwhile the passenger, Matthew David Goggleye, 17, of Nett Lake, was in critical critical condition and transported by an EMS helicopter to a Duluth area hospital for advanced care. The full story can be found here.

Matthew’s family says he is currently in a chemically induced coma at St. Mary’s hospital. They add he has brain damage and the road to recover will be lengthy.
