Levi’s Tri 5 takes over Giant’s Ridge

Giant’s Ridge Ski Resort hosted snowmobile enthusiasts from across the country on Saturday for Levi’s Tri 5.

Giants Ridge Ski Resort hosted snowmobile enthusiasts from across the country on Saturday for Levi’s Tri 5. The annual snowmobile race is hosted by Snocross champion, Red Bull Athlete and X Games medalist, Levi LaVallee.

Levi’s Tri 5 is a snowmobile 5K race that allows participants to dress up, outfit their snowmobiles and have fun while raising money for a good cause. The teams that compete are judged on their costumes, creativity and sportsmanship. The race is designed for snowmobiles built in the year 2000 or before, giving it a throwback, vintage feel.

The event aims to bring snowmobile racers together for a day of fun, racing and fundraising. Proceeds from the event go towards supporting Wings for Life USA, a non-profit spinal cord research foundation that aims to find a cure for spinal cord injury.

The race was first started in 2017 as an invite-only race but opened to the public in 2019. Since then, the event has been billed as “The most fun snowmobile race ever.”
