GetGreen app launches in Duluth

Duluth residents were invited to Wild State Cider Tuesday evening to celebrate the launch of the GetGreen app. The mobile app introduces citizens to daily actions they can take to positively impact the climate.

Those who attended the event were welcomed to a brief presentation featuring guest speakers including Duluth Mayor Larson, Jodi Slick and Mackenzie Foley of Ecolibrium3, Brian Ringer of GetGreen and Nina Axelson of Grid Catalyst.

The app is designed to advance the Duluth Citizens’ Climate Action Plan. Duluth’s Ecolibrium3 is working with GetGreen, a company based out of Seattle, to understand the effects and have an impact on the climate crisis through daily actions prompted by the mobile app.
