Food Truck Festival returning on Saturday in downtown Virginia

Head downtown to historic Chestnut Street on Saturday, September 17 from 11-7 to celebrate the annual Food Truck Festival! Almost 30 vendors will have something to tempt you.

Pep’s Bake Shop is excited to see all the people return. “It’s just so fun, it brings so many people around,” shared Laura Collins.

This year there will be many more new features in addition to all of the fantastic Food Truck offerings!

In front of Lyric Center for the Arts you can grab a beverage (including beer & wine) at their cash bar (21+) while enjoying your eats and treats. Take a seat curbside and enjoy the FREE, fine tunes of live music featuring Breanne Marie & The Front Porch Sinners at 3 p.m. and The Christopher David Hanson Band at 5 p.m., closing out the night at 7.

There will also be a youth activities area in front of The Annex with art supplies, chalk art and face painting.

Don’t forget about the Axe Throwing down at the new Forge Social Haus all day and BINGO at the Virginia Elk’s Club starting at 1:00 (18+ to play, includes a cash bar, 21+).
