Fitger’s shopping raffle for 218 days weekend celebration
Fitger’s Mall is jumping into 218 Days, with having a unique shopping raffle this weekend, going on until Sunday Feb, 19th. 218 Days is a weekend community celebration in the Northland with limited deals, shopping sales and outdoor experiences.
Tami Tanski Sherman, the Fitger’s Mall manager, talked about some of the fun events happening at the Fitger’s Mall this weekend. “We have a wine tasting, from the wine cellars right here. And we also have a book signing at the bookstore. when one you’re doing your shopping, you want to stop and enter a drawing for a raffle prize given by Fitger’s. And it’ll be an amazing one.” Tanski Sherman said.
The wine tasting is from Bourget Imports, and include Airfield Merlot, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc made in Yakima Valley. The Fitger’s wine tasting is from 2pm-4pm, and the book signing is from 12pm-2pm. The author is Andrew DeYoung, who wrote The Temps, and was the finalist for the MN Book awards for fiction genre. Tanski Sherman said the shopping raffle prize is a secret, but it is an amazing gift.
Tanski Sherman wanted to give her thanks to Sara Zeleznikar, for helping bring 218 Days to the Northland. She also talked about plans for 2024. “Next year, four 218 will be a little more prepared. We are going to start planning process and put a committee together. And so every store will have something special going on during the 218 Days event. We’re just inaugural partners this year.” Tanski Sherman said. The shopping raffle prize also has a value of over $300. There is also free parking at Fitgers Feb. 17th through the 18th when you mention 218 Days.
