FinnFest moving to host their event in Duluth for the next 5 years

FinnFest is making it’s comeback to Duluth in with four days of fun spanning from July 26th-30th at the DECC. And will also mark the 40th anniversary of the festival.
it’s North America’s premier event featuring the fabulous Nordic life and ingredients of happiness from music and movies to sauna and shopping. Participants of FinnFest also enjoy workshops, seminars, tours and a Finnish marketplace Tori.
Previously the FinnFest has been a touring festival but in a recent deal they have announced they will be hosting the event in Duluth for the next five years.
The annual festival has been hosted in a total of 23 cities, including Duluth in 1992 and 2008. FinnFest 2008 attracted around 10,000 participants, the largest number of FinnFest participants to this date.
