Favorite pizzeria closing Duluth locations

A favorite Twin Ports pizzeria is closing two of their three locations.

Vintage Italian Pizza will keep its Superior locations, closing the ones in West Duluth and Hillside.

Store manager Barry Shaw says it’s not for any particular reason, the owners want to focus on running one store instead of three.

“We are the main restaurant,” he explained to WDIO, “We have pick up. We have Delivery. We do all the catering events from the Superior location. So they’re going to concentrate on the Superior location.”

Shaw doesn’t rule out the possibility of one day delivering their Pizza to Duluth from this location, but says the store will ‘play it by ear.’
