Fairchild Equipment has a new home in Cloquet. It’s going to mean a bigger presence for the forklift service and construction equipment provider. They’ve had mobile mechanics who go out on site, but now they’ll have more space for service and parts, plus a full office area.

Their new location is at 1306 18th Street, Cloquet.

Gary Fairchild founded the company in 1985, and they serve customers across the Midwest.

The company is proud to have earned the Most Valuable Partner Award from the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association for the 10th year in a row.

Justin Cheever, a Product Support Representative, said, “10 years is a big accomplishment. I mean, there’s nearly 700 members of that association. To win the MVP Award, you have to be within the top 10%. And there are metrics about how you service customers. But it’s also about community activity. That’s something we pride ourselves on, and is one of our five core values, being active in our communities.”

He said they hope to contribute more to the Cloquet area, now that they are putting down roots here.
