After the primary election and 100% of precincts reporting the results of the primary election, the mayoral candidates react to the results.

Both candidates stopped by the WDIO station and answered questions about the what the primary says to them.

Both Emily Larson and Roger Reinert said that the primary turned out to be a very interesting race.

Roger had the following to say: “The other thing that I think last night’s results really did was reaffirm the message we’ve heard from one end of Duluth to the other and that’s that it’s time for something different.”

Emily says she now is learning more from the primary stating, “Today has been a fascinating day of conversations of allies and supporters and people who are like ‘I took a lot for granted.’ And now I’m excited to keep pushing and have these next three months to be the whole content of what we have to do to get over the finish line come November.”
