Concert of remembrance and hope
The Friends of the Felgemaker hosted a Concert of Remembrance and Hope on Sunday, November 19 at 3 pm at Sacred Heart Music Center.
It featured John Rutter’s Requiem, Charles Sundquist, Sacred Heart Music Center’s Resident Organist, who conducted the Requiem, with a 16-voice choir, soprano soloist Jennifer Lien, organist Rachael Kresha, flutist Sondra Mowers, oboist Brett Linski, and cellist Betsy Husby.
The concert also included several works for solo organ played by Velda Graham Bell, Karen Hanson Sande and David Tryggestad on the historic Felgemaker pipe organ.
The event was dedicated to all people who have been victims of acts of violence and intolerance across the world.
