Community Day this weekend at the Glensheen Mansion
Sunday January 7th, The Glensheen Mansion will be hosting their Free Community Day this weekend.
Staff at Glensheen say Community Day allows free tours of the mansion for the public as their way of giving back to the community.
The free tour offered is the classic self-guided tour. All guests in-line by 5:00pm received this offer.
Their Free Community Day also coincides with the last day Glensheen is decked out for Christmas decorations. So it was the last time visitors got to see all the Christmas decorations before next year.
Classic tours will be the only tour offered from 9 am to 5pm and reservations are not required.
The goal of Community Day this weekend is to ensure everyone has the opportunity to benefit from the industry that our community invests in through tourism tax.
