Boyz II Men and Chaka Khan to play at the State Fair in August

The Minnesota State Fair announces Boyz II Men and Chaka Khan to play in its 2023 Grandstand Concert Series lineup. Both, Boyz II Men and Chaka Khan will perform on Sunday, August 27, at 7 p.m. Tickets for these shows will be available on Friday, March 31, at 10 a.m. through the website etix.com or by contacting 800-514-3849. Tickets are reserved seating and will only be available for sale through the website or by phone.

Earlier in February, the Minnesota State Fair announced The Chicks and Duran Duran would have separate nights in the Grand Stand. There will be a Happy Together Tour 2023 tour featuring The Turtles, Little Anthony, Gary Puckett & The Union Gap, The Vogues, The Classics IV and The Cowsills on August 28, and Brandi Carlile on August 29.

According to the release from the Minnesota State Fair:
The popular R&B group Boyz II Men continues to create timeless hits, and has the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time. Their hits include “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” and “Motownphilly.”

Chaka Khan has influenced generations of music creators during her four decades as an artist, and is a 10-time Grammy Award winner. In 1978, Khan blazed onto the music scene as She broke out as a solo artist in 1978 with the release of the smash hit “I’m Every Woman.” Other hits include “Papillon” and “What ‘Cha Gonna Do For Me?” and the 1984 chart-topping, Grammy-winning “I Feel For You,” originally written and first performed by Prince.
