Bentleyville Tour of Lights is a walk through holiday lighting delight, and tonight was the last night of the season for 2022. Now a festival with over 5,000,000 lights is no easy feat to pull off.

“We opened for the public on Saturday, November 19th, and we were on for 38 nights. And then tomorrow it starts into a new phase of starting to take everything down and packing it all up and cleaning it all up. So for us, it doesn’t really end,” says Nathan Bentley, the Mayor of Bentleyville.

For those curious, 2023, will be the 20th anniversary of Bentleyville. A big part of the holiday traditions for many, the 20th anniversary is sure to be something amazing.

“So we’ll be discussing what we’re going to do for that in the coming next couple of weeks, we’ll start our planning process,” finishes Bentley.

As the season comes to a close, Bentleyville is in need of volunteers. Tuesday, December 27 through Sunday, January 1st, 8:30 – 4:00pm, volunteers will be welcome to come and help tear down the structures. Meet at Bayfront to start the cleanup, and free lunch will also be provided.
