Benders celebrates 50 years of business

Wednesday, the Northland-based business Benders celebrated their 50th anniversary across all their stores.
The family business will be succeeded by the third family generation, Tara Bender-Paulson is one of the Benders who has become a co-owner of the store.
She says it’s the focus on customer service that has attributed to the business’ success.
The business opened all the way back in 1973, starting in Grand Rapids then moving to Hibbing and then in to Duluth in 2021.
