$50,000 Powerball ticket sold in Duluth

A Powerball® ticket purchased in Duluth for the March 20 drawing matched four of the first five winning numbers plus the Powerball to win $50,000. The winning ticket was purchased at the West Duluth Super One, located at 5300 Bristol St.

This is the second big Powerball win in Minnesota this week. A $1 million winning ticket was sold at Falls Standard in Zumbro Falls for the March 18 drawing.

The winning Powerball numbers drawn on March 20 are 13-22-27-54-66 and the Powerball is 9.

The $50,000 prize can be claimed by mail or at any Minnesota Lottery office. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.

Unless the winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released. As of Sept. 1, 2021, the names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are private data.  

The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $750 million for Saturday’s drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 9 p.m. on drawing days.
