40th Ave. bridge repair work starts Wednesday

MnDOT plans to start repair work on the 40th Avenue W bridge over I-35 Wednesday, May 15.

The bridge was damaged when a truck hit it in April and has been closed since.

There will be lane closures on I-35 northbound between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. daily. MnDOT expects the work to last 10 days.

The bridge will still be closed until the repairs are assessed, according to the Department of Transportation.
