$100,000 Powerball ticket sold in Wisconsin

Been to Chippewa Falls lately? According to the Wisconsin Lottery, a $100,000 Powerball ticket was sold this weekend at the Lake Wissota Travel Shop on 17255 Cty Hwy X in Chippewa Falls. The ticket was sold on Saturday, December 2 and matched four of the five numbers plus the Powerball.

Saturday’s numbers were 28-35-41-47-60 and the Powerball was 3.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket included the $1 Power Play option turning a $50,000 win into a $100,000 win because of the 2X Power Play multiplier.

“This is a nice holiday present for the store and whoever won it,” Lake Wissota Travel Shop Manager, Dora Helland said in a press release. “We’re so excited. Powerball is a popular ticket with our customers, and many buy the Power Play option.”

Retailers in Wisconsin selling lottery tickets receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive for winning tickets over $599. Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com/winners/claim-prize.

Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. The next Powerball drawing is tonight where the estimated jackpot is $412 million. The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338.
